Trust Grade Doctor in Eating Disorders

Job Overview:

LYPFT is currently looking for a community-based Trust Grade Doctor to join the CONNECT service, an award-winning, specialist adult eating disorders service which provides inpatient and community-based care for adults with eating disorders across the West Yorkshire region.

The post holder will work as part of the CONNECT Community Team and be based between two community hub sites in Leeds and Halifax.

You will be qualified with full registration with GMC as well as have a good understanding of eating disorders and experience of working within an MDT.

You will be familiar with community-based risk management and will be capable of upholding a clear and coherent clinical model for a team working across a wide geographical region.

Consultant in Perinatal Psychiatry-Community

Job Overview:

This is a new post. The service plans to pilot a Duty and Urgent Assessment team (DUAT) which is part of the Leeds Community Perinatal Mental Health Team. The service is  being developed to clearly delineate the functions of the community team and enable the team to respond in a timely manner to urgent and emergency referrals in addition to providing close monitoring of patients who require more than weekly community contacts .The DUAT team will consist of a newly appointed consultant, 3 x band 6 mental health nurses, 1 x band 6 Occupation Therapist and a senior social worker

Consultant in Liaison Psychiatry / Psychological Medicine, NICPM

Job Overview:

This vacancy is a 10 PA substantive post in Liaison Psychiatry / Psychological Medicine at the National Inpatient Centre for Psychological Medicine - NICPM - currently based at Leeds General Infirmary.

The NICPM delivers multidisciplinary biopsychosocial care for people with severe and complex medically unexplained physical symptoms (MUS). It is currently an eight-bed specialist inpatient unit for adults, but with plans for potential expansion of the service in due course.

The NICPM is part of the wider Liaison Psychiatry Service in Leeds

Consultant Psychiatrist Forensic Psychiatry 

Job Overview:

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Low Secure Service based at the Newsam Centre, Leeds.   The successful candidate will join two other full time substantive Consultants who are in post.   Although a Forensically trained psychiatrist is preferred, a candidate with general adult training would be considered.   The post is to help run the male mental illness pathway.
