Andrew Sims Centre are hosting a Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder Conference. The full day conference will be chaired by Dr Tariq Mahmood, Consultant Psychiatrist, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust & Dr Maheswarappa Hosalli, Consultant Psychiatrist, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The programme is led by multiple expert speakers and will cover topics such as:

• Modern approaches to diagnosis: From course of illness to biomarkers - Dr Tariq Mahmood, Consultant Psychiatrist, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
• Neuroimaging Endophenotypes and other biomarkers of Schizophrenia: New Developments - Professor Peter Woodruff, Professor of Psychiatry, Sheffield University
• Bipolar Disorder in Perinatal Period - Dr Rose Mozdiak, Consultant Psychiatrist, Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
• New antimanic drugs - Dr John Cookson, Consultant Psychiatrist, Queen Margaret Hospital
