Book EventNeuropsychiatry is a tertiary branch of psychiatry with a primary focus on diagnosing and treating psychiatric complications of known or suspected neurological disease/acquired brain injury. Another key area of practice involves carrying out diagnostic work where psychiatric presentations have atypical qualities and are suspected to be associated with organic disease.
This course is led by Dr Rachel Thomasson and Dr Richard Hackett, Consultant Neuropsychiatrists, Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences. The course is clinically focused and covers a range of core neuropsychiatry topics using lectures and small group case-based problem solving.

- Obtain a practical overview of core topics in neuropsychiatry, including: movement disorders, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury and inflammatory brain disease.
