Project management is the most used instrument of change in the NHS and beyond.
It is important that anyone affected by, or a participant in a Project, can understand the planning techniques that are used, and be able to engage effectively with Project leaders and other stakeholders to ensure good outcomes.
Presented by Bill Farrow, Iolair UK Ltd., the purpose of the workshop is to provide delegates with an understanding of how projects are conceived, planned, run and evaluated. We will look at the behaviours and soft skills most likely to benefit Project teams. Most projects have to overcome the unexpected and deal with conflict so we will include a session on problem solving and managing conflict positively. Finally, we will take a very brief look at some of the standard Project Management methodologies in common use.
