The pending changes to the 1983 Mental Health Act represent the most significant changes we have seen in the legislation for a generation. Led by Dr Tony Zigmond (Lead on Mental Health Law Reform, Honorary Vice President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists' and Consultant Psychiatrist, Leeds) this practical and interactive day provided an overview of those changes before exploring the potential impact they will have.
